Who is nobo13?

 

Hi,

I'm Nobo13. I enjoy writing, drawing, and generally being creative.

The pen name Nobo13 comes from my surname. It reads like the Japanese for climb 'noboru' but it has an extra bit that resembles the number 13- hence we have Nobo13.

Additionally the part that is 'noboru' is read as 'to publish' in Chinese, so it made sense for me to use it as a self-published author.

Other than writing or doodling away, I've found myself strumming away at ukuleles- I highly recommend getting an uke. It's something that brings a smile to a face quite easily, and is itself very pleasing. I've decided to make an uke a month as well for 2015. Please check out the blog.

 

I'm a teacher by profession, but that doesn't mean much as I suck at being an adult. It's an absolute honour to be teaching the kids I teach, and besides being creative, they give me a reason to live my life to the best I can.
